Can you send me a brochure?

Our online store is our brochure and features all the information and images about our beds and furniture. If you require further information please contact us either by phone on 01865 242442 or email us using our Contact Us form.

Do you have a showroom?

We have a showroom located in Oxford which is open from 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Saturday.

Can I collect from the showroom?

Yes, you can collect goods from our showroom and warehouse by prior arrangement.

How safe is it to give my credit card details online?

Our website uses modern encrypted server technology making it safe and secure when buying online. All credit/debit card transactions are safe.

How can I place an order?

You can place orders over the internet, by fax, post or phone.

What is the order process?

Browse our catalogue click "Add to Basket" to add any items you wish to buy; these items can be removed later if you wish or change your mind.

To finish shopping, view your basket and click on the "Checkout" button which takes you to your order confirmation page. Enter your details and credit card information and send them to us via our secure server. If preferred you can also print the order form and send it to us by fax or post or telephone us on 01865 242442 to place the order over the phone.

You will be contacted within 2 working days to confirm the order and be advised of an anticipated delivery date.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit cards via secure server and can accept cheques with postal orders.

Do Spire Furniture's prices include VAT?

All our prices include VAT.

Do Spire Furniture's prices include delivery?

Spire Furniture offers free delivery on orders over £500. Order values under this amount will incur a small charge. For full details are, please see our delivery information.

What happens if I cancel my order?

Items we hold in stock can be canceled prior to your order being dispatched. In this instance you will not incur any charges and a full refund will be applicable. If your order has already been dispatched then you may be charged for delivery. For items that have been specially ordered or made a cancellation fee may be charged.

How do your prices compare to others?

Spire Furniture aims to offer the cheapest prices for like for like products. However if our prices are uncompetitive against competitors please tell as and we will endeavor to price match on like for like products.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver to all addresses within the UK mainland. At present we deliver between the hours of 9am - 5pm weekdays only. Saturday deliveries are available within 45 mile radius Oxford.

For overseas customers we will deliver to your pre-arranged shipper and all shipping arrangements must be made directly by the customer.

When will you dispatch my order?

Lead times for different pieces of furniture vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Once we receive an item into our warehouse it is quality checked and re-packaged for onward transportation and usually dispatched within 3 working days. However lead times can be from 7-28 days depending on the items ordered. Lead times will be displayed at time of order.

When will my goods arrive?

Most of our smaller items can be sent via a courier and can take up to 48 hrs for delivery once dispatched. Some of our very large furniture will be sent via a specialist delivery service and depending upon your location this can take up to 10 working days. You will be advised in advance of the scheduled delivery date.

What happens to my personal details?

Your personal details will remain strictly confidential and not passed on to third parties. You have the option to be kept informed of new lines and special offers when placing an order.

What is your returns policy?

We want you to be completely delighted with any purchase from Spire Furniture so we offer a 7 day money back guarantee. Upon delivery please inspect your goods and make a note on the delivery paperwork of any damage or defect. If you are not satisfied simply return the products to us in their original condition and packaging and we will refund the purchase price.

Will my goods have a guarantee?

All goods carry a 1 year manufacturer's guarantee against materials and workmanship.

Measuring and allowing for delivery access before ordering?

We would ask you to ensure all measurements are checked prior to ordering. If your items do not fit we cannot be held responsible. On special size beds, mattresses and headboards we require written confirmation by email or fax as we cannot be held responsible for errors in measurements on your part.

Colours question and queries?

All colours shown on our web site or in catalogues provided are for reference only. While every effort has been made to match the colours seen, differences in display can make them appear very different! Fabric or wood samples can be available on request; please ask if required.

Can you make any size of bed and mattress?

Yes if you require a special or continental size we can manufacture it for you. On some models we offer a rapid special size service. We require written confirmation by email or fax as we cannot be held responsible for errors in measurement on your part.

Helpful notes to speed up your order

We verify all orders against current voters list, so if you have moved in the last 3 years please advise previous address by email. We check all details with your card provider; please ensure "Invoice" address is as supplied to your card provider.

If you have moved within the last three months please ensure your card provider has your correct address details. We use landline telephone numbers as added security checks; please ensure you supply this with your order.

Please note that for your security we do not dispatch goods to addresses that have no landline telephone number without getting verification that the addressee lives there.
